The growth of a higher education institution depends upon its ability to strike a balance between pedagogical techniques and its contribution to original research and knowledge generation. ACEM promotes research exposure, interdisciplinary learning, entrepreneurship, and start-up culture among students and faculty.
EDP and Incubation Cell is a platform for new age entrepreneurs and young minds to transform innovative ideas into viable business propositions. Its vision is to facilitate a platform where new entrepreneurs can begin business ventures with minimum risks.
The mission of the EDP and Incubation Cell is to nurture and empower the next generation entrepreneurs to serve local problems. Students, faculty, alumni, and local industries can bring ideas that may lead to start-ups.
The aim of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is to develop and strengthen entrepreneurial qualities in budding professionals who have the zeal, enthusiasm, and desire to develop self-employment ideas into ventures.
The cell encourages faculty members and students to share novel ideas, organizes conferences and FDPs, encourages research culture, supports research-based books, and provides a platform for exchange of ideas through seminars and workshops on entrepreneurship, start-ups, and IPR.
The Incubation Centre nurtures technology ventures through their start-up phase by providing support necessary to help entrepreneurs establish themselves before they scale up their ventures.
ACEM Incubation Centre supports entrepreneurs in translating innovations into commercially viable products and services. It supports innovation, pre-incubation activities, mentoring, branding as an ACEM incubated company, laboratory/workshop access, networking, seed funding guidance, and investor introductions.
The Research Promotion & IPR committee is designed to network people, ideas, expertise, and resources to inspire the innovation community in the college. It supports students, fosters ideas, motivates them to present business plans, and may assist project finance.
The research ecosystem aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, ethical conduct, knowledge transfer, commercialization, strategic partnerships, research capability building, transparent governance, consultancy, sponsored research, publications, patents, and social impact.
